Speaking Engagement and Workshops

In our group workshops, we explore overcoming self-neglect using a holistic mind-body-spirit model. Specialized Classes

This specialized class, Cooking and Eating for Optimal Health,  provides class participants with information and gentle guidance in replacing disease promoting foods with nutritious alternatives. Through a series of three to four comprehensive classes, (or one 5-hour, half-day class) I lead discussions to demonstrate how and why the Standard American Diet (SAD) is making us sick. I guide participants in simple-to-understand terms which foods to avoid, foods to eat, and how to prepare nutrient rich ingredients in delicious ways. The course materials include resources, recipes, and handouts to follow at home.  Cooking demonstrations showcase the ease of preparation while tastings demonstrate that healthy foods can indeed be delicious!
